Nearly 800 million people in the world live without access to CLEAN EASILY ACCESSIBLE water. That's about 10% of all people! 10% of the money raised from the OYWO challenge will go to reducing that number. Women and children in poor rural communities often spend long hours fetching water...time that would be better spent in school or working! Drinking dirty water leads to all sorts of life-threatening diseases!
